Mirakl Connect
Definition
Mirakl Connect is the seller-and-brand side counterpart to the Mirakl Marketplace Platform, which serves operators.
- One account, many marketplaces: after a single onboarding, a seller can apply to and connect with more than 450 Mirakl-powered marketplaces from the same account
- Catalog transformation: product data is converted to match each marketplace's categories and required attributes, with AI-assisted optimization of listings
- Unified operations: orders, inventory, pricing, buyer messages and returns across marketplaces are handled in one interface
- Connectivity: prebuilt connectors for Shopify, Adobe Commerce and WooCommerce, plus the Seller API. The Shopify one is the "Mirakl Connect" app on the Shopify App Store, which lets a Shopify merchant, as a seller, sync products, inventory and prices to marketplaces and handle the orders in Shopify. Joining is free, with paid plans that add support and other services
Seen from the operator's side, Mirakl Connect is also a seller network. An operator can invite sellers already registered on Connect, vet them, and bring them live on its own marketplace quickly.
Two similarly named products are different things. Mirakl Platform Connector for Shopify is Mirakl's official connector that turns an operator's Shopify store into a marketplace (launched in July 2025 as an operator-side extension of the seller-side Mirakl Connect integration). Connector for Mirakl is our own app that links a seller's order management system to Mirakl.
Background
The slowest part of launching a marketplace is not the system but recruiting sellers. From the seller's side, reshaping product data for each marketplace and processing orders in separate back offices is a burden, and often the reason to decline. Mirakl Connect collapses that burden into one onboarding per seller, lowering the cost of multi-marketplace selling for sellers and giving operators a supply of vetted sellers. It also marks Mirakl's shift from an operator-side platform to a two-sided ecosystem that includes sellers.
In Japan the service is not yet available as of September 2026; Mirakl's Japanese site lists it as "in preparation". Joining a Japanese marketplace still means registering with each operator and working in that marketplace's seller back office. Because most Japanese sellers run several malls through an order management system (OMS), connecting the OMS remains a practical requirement on the seller side even after Mirakl Connect becomes available.
Flagship's Involvement
On projects for Japanese operators, we confirm the status of Mirakl Connect's Japanese rollout with Mirakl for each project before designing seller onboarding. Today the seller-side entry point is our Connector for Mirakl, which lets sellers list, receive orders and ship on Mirakl marketplaces from order management systems such as Next Engine, LOGILESS and CROSS MALL. If Mirakl Connect becomes available in Japan, data exchange with sellers registered on Connect, most of them running Shopify, will be automated through the official integration. From then on we expect the two to be complementary: Connect as the front door and storefront connection for Connect-enabled sellers, Connector for Mirakl as the integration with domestic OMS workflows.
