Flagship Inc. announces VI overhaul and corporate website renewal
Flagship Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Koji Jinba; hereinafter "Flagship") renewed its VI (Visual Identity) and relaunched its corporate website on Saturday, July 4, 2026, marking its 14th anniversary.
Flagship has consistently operated at the intersection of technology and business, supporting companies in their endeavors within the ever-evolving digital landscape.
Leveraging its expertise in enterprise e-commerce cultivated as Japan's first Shopify Plus Partner, alongside its advanced skills in architecture design and software development, Flagship now offers comprehensive support for corporate digital commerce. This includes marketplace development and AI Engineering, which reorganizes operations and organizations using AI.
This journey has involved venturing into areas where definitive answers are yet to be found, accumulating knowledge piece by piece through trial and error for those who follow.
We encapsulate this approach in our purpose: "Develop Maps: Creating maps where none exist."
This means leaving behind experience and knowledge as maps for those venturing into unknown territories.
And it also means continuing to be trailblazers ourselves.
This VI renewal is an initiative to communicate this purpose to society in a deeper and more consistent manner.
The meaning behind our new logo
The new logo was designed to express the meaning of the company name "Flagship" in a more symbolic and contemporary way.
The logomark is inspired by a "ship" charting unknown waters, while also encompassing multiple images such as a flag, waves, and wind.
By not restricting its meaning to a single interpretation and instead opening it up to the viewer's understanding, it represents Flagship's attitude of heading towards uncharted seas.
Furthermore, the logotype has been uniquely adjusted to align with this new identity.
The aim was to create a form where the mark and text integrate to convey intelligence, sincerity, and a forward-moving spirit.
In addition, an abbreviated logo using the initial "F" was newly designed to consistently deliver Flagship's impression across various touchpoints.
This identity element, suitable for limited display areas and interfaces closer to a square, inherits the basic logo's form while more concisely representing the brand's presence.
For the brand color, we adopted "Flagship Blue," which represents intelligence, innovation, and dignity.
Flagship Blue is the primary color for logo display and is central to the new identity.
By making blue stand out in a white-based, spacious design, we aim to consistently convey Flagship's cherished intelligence and innovativeness through visual expression.
Going forward, we will deploy this Flagship Blue across our corporate website, materials, and various communication tools to unify the Flagship brand experience.
About the corporate website renewal

Along with the VI renewal, our corporate website has also undergone a complete revamp.
The new site aims to more clearly communicate not only Flagship's business activities but also the philosophies, culture, and corporate stance we value.
We have refined the company's profile, structuring the site to allow stakeholders to more intuitively grasp what Flagship believes in and what value it seeks to provide to society.
Through this renewal, we will strengthen brand communication externally and further promote the formation of a culture centered on "Develop Maps" internally.
Comments from creative partners who explored "Flagship's essence" with us
Art Director KAAKA Inc. / Ryosuke Kato
We aimed for a VI design that encapsulates Flagship's forward-moving spirit and intelligence, its sincere attitude, and its modern sensibility.
We hope it will serve as an aid in continuously charting new courses into unknown seas.
Web Designer Super Crowds Inc. / Kenichi Tanaka
We took on the challenge of expressing the ideas and representations embedded in the new logo, and Flagship's forward-looking stance of "creating maps where none exist," in a way that is unique to a website. The fluttering flag is a direct representation of a "flag" and is also designed to occasionally evoke the impression of "waves" on the sea. We would be delighted if visitors could feel the "ship" named Flagship and the wind that opens up the future from our corporate website.
Looking Ahead
The "maps" that Flagship has meticulously crafted through trial and error are filled with proven track records and practical expertise at the forefront of digital commerce.
However, these maps were not drawn by us alone. They were gradually shaped through thinking, challenging, and learning together with our customers, partners, platforms, and the industry. Furthermore, countless challenges that have opened up many possibilities, and the knowledge left by nameless individuals, are also embedded within them.
That is why we believe this knowledge should not remain our sole asset but should be passed on to those who are about to venture into new territories.
In an era where optimal solutions for tomorrow are unclear, the knowledge we possess serves as a compass guiding our customers. However, we do not intend to rest on past successes. Our goal is to transform our accumulated achievements into guideposts for the future and together seize new value that does not yet exist.
With the new VI, Flagship will continue to transform its inherited knowledge into guideposts for the future, advancing one step further to seize "new value that does not yet exist" together with those venturing into unknown territories.
Furthermore, guidelines for the correct use of the new logo and identity elements are published on our corporate website. Media representatives and partner companies are encouraged to refer to these guidelines when using our logo.
