Representative Information
CEO, Flagship Inc. Koji Jimba founded Flagship in 2012 and has worked in systems design, development and operations ever since, with web system engineering as his foundation. In 2017 he refocused the business on Shopify-centered e-commerce, and the following year led the company to become Japan's first certified Shopify Plus Partner. He has since driven enterprise Shopify Plus implementation in the Japanese market. Assembling a multinational team that works in English, he has built the delivery and operations structure behind large-scale commerce and, on the premise that quality cannot be secured by process alone, has cultivated the organizational culture that underpins it. In 2024 Flagship earned Japan's first Mirakl Solution Partner certification, extending its support into marketplaces. He personally leads the company's adoption of AI, with the emphasis on embedding it as organizational practice rather than individual workaround, advancing it both in Flagship's own operations and in its work for clients, and looking beyond changes in how work is done to the transformation of companies themselves.
